Custom Espresso machine enhancements

HiTechespresso.com -- since 1991

THE PREMIER SOURCE for espresso machine enhancements

We are here for ONE purpose.  To provide espresso

equipment that will deliver great coffee, consistently, with FULL support and service.

We have a complete line of machines from Rancilio, QuickMill and Le'lit, meeting every price range from  $550 to

$8,000+, and now, an electronic automatic GRINDER.

For those who wish the ultimate in espresso, we are pleased to announce we are now resellers of Synesso, and the

La Marzocco GS/3!

While others have noticed our success by offering kits of parts, we have gone far beyond, developing products that are integrated, fully tested and:

Warranted for one year -- parts and labor.

Even better -- we are available by telephone!  That's right, actual customer service and support.  Remember that??

Of special interest is the modification of "heat-exchanger" (HX) espresso machines, eliminating the crude, mechanical, and trouble-prone "old school" pressurestat, and replacing it with a modern, non-mechanical and reliable system.  Sadly, there are still old-line vendors and bloggers that do not understand the benefits of this approach.

And, incredibly there are  those who think it is not worth it?  Interestingly, none of those persons own one!

Permit me to quote an owner of one of our electronic Quick Mill HX espresso machines, the Andreja:

Dave

I wanted to write a follow-up now that I have had this a couple of months and thank you for this GREAT machine. The controls are "tight" and it makes OUTSTANDING espresso (once I got past the operator limitations -- me). I am now marketing my friends to get one of these
with the PID -- Thanks for making this great experience possible.

Ron

A great set of questions recently received:

"Being new to the espresso domain, I've searched around on Home-Barista.com and CoffeeGeek.com on what is a 'PID' ...  Everybody talks about it, but I couldn't find a straight answer!  Thought I would be better off asking the guy that knows the best...  So here is a couple of simple and maybe silly questions:"

"1- So, what is a 'PID' ?"

Just ignore the initials.  It is a 'smart', highly accurate microcomputer-based temperature controller.

"2- Why would I need a 'PID' on my machine?"

To reliably maintain the exact temperature YOU set for the best possible espresso.

"3- How does the 'PID' work, what kind of control/information does it give me?"

It compares the boiler temperature against the value YOU have set, three times per second and feeds power to the heating element in the boiler as needed, to maintain the exact temperature.  The readout displays both the temperature you have set, and the current temperature.  You may change it at any time and it will remember until YOU change it again.

Pictured below is an example of our specially modified, brand new Rancilio Silvia, which we ship complete with PID computer temperature  control. (Over 480 shipped to date) This enhancement delivers consistent brew water temperature control and stability that exceeds the performance of  machines costing much more.  We do NOT offer kits.

Also, please note that your unit receives a one year parts and labor  warranty, on the entire machine.

Shown below is  the $1,295.00, electronically controlled, single boiler, Quick Mill "Alexia" the  "Silvia killer" an astounding performer. -- and NO kits.

In response to customer requests, we now offer this valuable enhancement for the Quick Mill heat exchanger machines: the "Anita", the "Andreja Premium", and the "Vetrano", Quick Mill's high end, rotary pump HX machine. We have performed this enhancement on over 100  (one hundred) HX machines.

Long ignored for enhancement are grinders.  A doserless, electronic espresso grinder should not have to cost $700.00!

We have taken the Rancilio Rocky doserless grinder and added electronic timing -- to deliver repeatable amounts of coffee into the handle. $455.00, shipped

We deliver full repair, service and tune-ups for Gaggia, Rancilio, Saeco, Isomac, Brasilia, LaPavoni and other select makes.  Call us for a quote.

"+ feedback has been left for you.  Thanks again for providing great products + being fair and honest.  Have a great year!"  Brian P.,  Oklahoma.
